Although many of the evokers and illusioners in Minecraft have many similarities, there are many ways they can be different.
Evokers are a hostile mob found in Minecraft. They can be found in woodland mansions or during raids. Evokers are adept at casting spells and won't hesitate to use them on players, traders, or villagers they meet.
In Minecraft, illusioners can create spells of their own. These mobs can also attack players, traders, and villagers. They will be more difficult to spot than they are now, though, because illusions in-game are not yet implemented.
Both illusionists and evokers celebrate their wins. Both mobs will jump in the air and laugh when all the village beds are gone. They will also celebrate if all the villagers are destroyed in a raid.
The Ominous Banner can be dropped by both illusioners and evokers. If they are raid captains, this will happen.
Although they may wear different clothes, illusioners and evokers share the same base skin.
Raids can be populated by illusioners and evokers. They are hostile to players, villagers, and wandering traders.
Evokers can be found in regular Minecraft gameplay. Illusioners cannot spawn unless a player executes an in-game command.
The black robes of Evokers are trimmed with gold. Illusioners wear hoods and bluish cloaks with gold trim.
Minecraft does not allow for physical weapons, but Evokers can use bows to make illusions.
Evokers can drop emeralds as well as the Totem of Undying. They are the only source for the item in-game. They drop their bows, however, if they are illusioners.
Both illusioners and evokers are very similar, but they can also be quite different. They remain an interesting part of Minecraft gameplay. Each has its own nuances and intricacies that are fascinating to discover.
