Apple Plans To Launch 16-Inch Macbook Pro In September
I frequently mention one thing in my writings: Apple never ceases to surprise its users worldwide. Even as there are leaks and rumors about Apple products prototype and design available online, some products come out of the blue. Now the company is planning to release a 16-inch MacBook Pro in September.
This information has come from Jeff Lin, who is an analyst at the research firm IHS Markit. As per Lin, the new MacBook Pro will have an LCD and 3072 x 1920 Resolution. Notably, LG will supply the LCD to Apple.

The full report is outlined in If anybody wants to compare, the 15″ MacBook Pro boasts a resolution of 2,880×1,800 pixels.
In his email, Jeff Lin, Associate Director, Consumer Electronics at IHS Markit, said, “We foresee that Apple will release a new product [at the] Sep’19 Apple event if there’s no unexpected development issue.”
Last month, a Korean website The Elec reported that Samsung was in conversations with Apple about shipping OLED displays for the 16-inch MacBook Pro. However, if the information from IHS Markit is more reliable, the laptop will flaunt an LCD and not an OLED display.
People are likely to believe IHS Markit reports as the research firm has a dedicated team of experts, who continuously research display-related technology. Moreover, the team members are close to the suppliers.
Earlier, IHS Markit research team had accurately revealed the original 10.5-inch iPad Pro’s resolution four months before its launch. In addition to this, the team also predicted about LTPO coming to the Apple Watch.
In February this year, a noted analyst Ming-Chi Kuo began to talk about 16-inch MacBook Pro; Kuo believed that Apple might launch its notebook anytime in 2020 with an “all-new design.” However, Kuo never mentioned about display technology of the notebook.
Apart from a newer processor, there isn’t any detail shared by Lin about the 16-inch MacBook Pro.
That’s all folks!
Apple is known for breaking norms, and this leads us to believe that the iPhone maker is likely to come up with a Mac in its iPhone event in September. Typically, Apple introduces its Mac lineup in October. Anyway, users could see a new MacBook Pro before 2019 ends.
